Practitioner forums were launched by the Commission in November 2008 following the release of the 'Misconduct Resistance: An Integrated Governance Approach to Protecting Agency integrity' Framework. The aim of the forums is to help WA public authorities develop and implement their own misconduct resistance approaches that align with the Framework.
Held on a quarterly basis, the forums provide managers and other staff who have responsibility for implementation of misconduct resistance strategies with information and practical advice about issues and topics. The forums also foster cross-sector networking and support by showcasing what agencies are doing, and providing opportunities for exploration and discussion of ways forward.
