Michelle Harries, Acting Principal Lawyer at the Corruption and Crime Commission, presented on the Commission's experience of misconduct and corruption in contracting and procurement, including case studies from recent and current misconduct investigations.
Angela Corbett, Assistant Director, Policy and Practice Improvement at the Department of Treasury and Finance provided an insight into the key probity issues in purchasing and contracting.
Michael Nest, a Senior Corruption Prevention Officer with the Independent Commission Against Corruption, NSW presented on the corruption risks in NSW procurement, outsourcing and contracting, discussing recent investigations, research and supplier attitudes.
