Attorney General officially opens the CCC's new Northbridge office today

Node Title

14 March 2018

The new Northbridge office was officially opened by the Attorney General on Wednesday 14 March 2018 after more than a decade at 186 St Georges Terrace in the Perth CBD.

The decision to relocate, and the choice to move to the Francis Street premises, was based on numerous benefits to the CCC and its work – particularly operational and administrative efficiencies.

The new office accommodates the entire Commission team, of more than 120 people, and provides a special operational centre, as well as purpose built public examination rooms and interview rooms, all on one floor – for the first time. The layout of the new workplace will also provide an environment that facilitates more innovation, and better interaction and collaboration between Commission officers.

The Hon John Quigley MLA Attorney General officially opened the office by revealing a plaque and congratulating the Commission on its new state-of-the-art workplace.

The event kick started with a special Welcome to Country by Olman Walley that featured a traditional Aboriginal song and didgeridoo performance, and guests were also taken on a tour of the new premises.
