It is the present intention of the CCC to hold public examinations as part of its ongoing investigation to determine whether two former IT managers at Horizon Power engaged in corrupt or serious misconduct in the performance of their functions of office or employment.
A final decision will be made by the Commission after taking into account any submissions from interested parties, including the media.
To-date, the CCC’s investigation has made use of the full range of its powers including the search of a number of premises, examination of thousands of documents, covert methodology, and the private examinations of a number of witnesses.
The investigation has uncovered corruption allegations against two former IT managers at Horizon Power, and some serious questions about their conduct as public officers. The Commission may pose these questions in public examinations, to benefit the community and other public authorities.
