Acknowledgement
Thank you for your online report to the Corruption and Crime Commission.
What happens next?
The Commission assesses all allegations of serious misconduct it receives. If you are reporting an allegation(s) of serious misconduct to the Commission, it will be assessed by the Commission in due course. As part of that assessment process, we may or may not contact you for further information.
An assessment is not an investigation. An assessment is conducted to determine what action (if any) the Commission will take into the allegation(s).
The assessment is based on the information you provide and any other relevant information available to us.
Outcome
The Commission aims to assess all reports of serious misconduct within 28 days; however, it may take longer if we need to get further information or conduct enquiries. Due to this and the high volume of notifications received, we are unable to provide a definite timeframe for an assessment.
If you have provided your contact details, the Commission will advise you of the assessment outcome once the assessment process has been completed.
